Auguri a tutti i Papà
In Italy, we make cream-filled zeppole to celebrate Father’s Day. I made them in a light version but super delicious!

Steps
1
Done

Put the water and the oil (or the previously melted margarine) in a saucepan and bring to the boil. |

Add all the flour and mix energetically. The choux pastry will be ready when a ball of dough completely detached from the pan is formed around the wooden spoon (or a rubber spatula). |

Let it cool for a few minutes and add eggs and egg white. Stir until completely absorbed. |

Put the dough in a pastry bag and form the zeppole directly on the baking sheet (with parchment paper). Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 190°C for 15 minutes. |

Wait a few minutes with the oven door ajar before taking out of the oven. Leave to cool and fill with the crème pâtissière. |
